This is Part Two of my #WhatBringsYouJoy blog series. As part of the Love Club this month, I am committing to do at least one thing every day in October that brings me JOY! You can read Part One here.

Joy-is...A-New-Perspective-CultivatingJoyCultivating Joy

Today my friend and bestselling publisher Linda Joy released Inspiration for a Woman’s Soul: Cultivating Joy featuring the soul-inspiring stories of 38 amazing women who share their intimate stories of transformation. Cultivating Joy also includes Reflection Questions after each story which will empower you to integrate the vital lessons of each woman’s journey into your own life. What Brings You Joy?

Here are more JOY generators I am discovering this month….

Art Supplies - Cultivating JoyDay #4: Art Supplies

Today my JOY generator was purchasing art supplies in preparation for a day of painting! F-U-N! Spending time in an art supply store always brings me joy. I’m like a little girl in a candy store… eyes wide open looking at all the bright colors and fun projects. I also bought a sacred gift for one of soul-sisters today. Thinking about giving this to her at the end of October fills me with so much JOY!

Sometimes, it’s the little things that bring me JOY, like when my partner carries in the groceries from my car after I go grocery shopping. Just knowing I have someone who has my back… someone, that when I’m tired, can tag team with me. This most definitely brings me joy.

Luscious Body PaintingDAY #6: Painting

Today I went on an intuitive painting journey with Shiloh Sophia McCloud and Chris Zydell. Painting with Shiloh always brings me JOY! Shiloh describes this type of painting best: “Intuitive Painting is where we practice a deep listening into the unconscious inner mysteries and draw our inspiration from them. We use the voice of the muse to guide us to find our treasures, symbols, icons and medicine and bring it back out from the veil into the light of our lives, and onto our canvases”.
