Teaching Children Self Love – That’s what I’ve been focusing on over the last few months. I’ve been working with Christine Arylo at The Path of Self Love School on one of the most important pieces of sacred work I think I’ll ever bring into this world – and that any of you who are parents, guardians, or have influence with children get to do in this lifetime.

  • Teaching our children how to love themselves.
  • To stay true to themselves in world of social media and cultural systems that pressure them to conform and perform.
  • To transform negative self talk into patience and compassion.
  • To only choose loving respectful relationships, always.
  • And so much more…

Teaching Children Self LoveTeaching Children Self Love – This has always been part of the mission of The Path of Self Love School, where I’m the Director of Programs and where teach and coach others using the power of self love. And this year, the school is taking a stand… to support those who care for and love the children in their life… to teach them how to cultivate an inner foundation of courage, compassion, clarity, and confidence using the power of self-love… which is not just self-esteem.

YOU’RE INVITED! Parents, teachers, guardians, grandparents, aunts, uncles, godparents, big sisters and brothers – any one who would like to know more about how you can guide your children to successfully navigate today’s world with all its chaos and pressures.

We sincerely hope you’ll join us for this free class we’re offering on Tuesday April 17th.

It’s called: How Children Learn to Love Themselves.

Teaching Children Self Love

Why we are holding this class and taking this stand for teaching children self-love, not just self esteem:

ONE: A lack of self-love is at the root of almost every challenge we face in our lives, but most people don’t know what self-love truly is, and what the lack of it looks like in their lives.

TWO: You can’t teach or model what you don’t have language for or embody yourself – our kids watch our actions more than they listen to our words.

THREE: Self-esteem is not enough – it’s only 1/10th of a strong inner foundation. The over focus self esteem – without the other 9 components of self love is creating levels of stress on our kids we never faced.

FOUR: We can’t always be with our children to guide them to make good choices. But when we can teach them self-trust, combined with self empowerment and self compassion (three of the 10 kinds of self-love), they will have the inner resilience and clarity to stay true to themselves, no matter what.

This introductory class is an opportunity for you to learn practical, tangible self-love practices you can incorporate into your daily life—and techniques for teaching the children you love to do the same.

Imagine a world rooted in love, where all beings felt safe, heard, enough, loved, and whole. That is the power of self-love. Christine Arylo and I look forward to sharing this wisdom and tools with you.
