I took my boys to a local Stand Up For Love rally tonight. The painful part is knowing it was also an anti-nazi rally. I’m grateful to live in a community that believes in and stands up for LOVE.
I stand for love.
Being a voice for LOVE is why I’m here on Earth at this time. And… it feels vulnerable to be a voice for LOVE when there’s so much hate lurking and organizing. It feels scary. It feels scary for me to even post this. It makes me feel raw and exposed.
Responding to hate with LOVE is a choice and a practice. It requires slowing down. To FEEL the hate and to RESPOND with love. It’s not a quick fix… it’s not the easy way… but the solution will be found in love.
The only true power is love.
